Spaces

Read this page to learn about spaces in the AI Hub. You must join a space to access unique AI Hub features, such as the compiler.

Spaces

In the DeGirum AI Hub, spaces have three roles: Regular Member, Team General Manager, and Team Billing Manager.

  • Regular Members have access to all features enabled for the space.

  • Team General Managers can edit member roles, set up billing, and delete the space.

  • Team Billing Managers can set up billing.

Creating Spaces

Any AI Hub user can create a space.

1

Click your Account or Space in the Top Right Corner

A dropdown menu will appear. This dropdown menu will display your account and spaces.

2

Create New Space

Select Create New Space from the dropdown to open the form.

3

Set a Space Name and Description

After selecting Create New Space, enter the space name and description when prompted.

Space names and descriptions cannot be changed after creation.

4

Click Create New Space

After entering the space name and description, click Create New Space. You'll immediately join as a Team General Manager, and the space will appear in the dropdown the next time you open your account or space menu.

Inviting People to Spaces

Only Team General Managers can invite people to spaces. To invite someone, you'll need their email address. The AI Hub sends a confirmation email to the new member.

1

Select a Space

Select a space in which you are a Team General Manager.

2

Enter the Manage Space Page

Click Manage Space to open tiles for creating spaces, managing the current space, and more. Select the Members tile. For details on these tiles, see here.

3

Enter the Members Page

As a Team General Manager, open Members to see the Invite Space Member button in the upper-right corner of the member list.

4

Invite a Space Member

Click Invite Space Member and enter the person's email address. They don't need an AI Hub account, but if they have one, use the email they used to sign up.

5

Click Send Invite

After you click Send Invite, the AI Hub sends a confirmation email and immediately adds the recipient to your space as a Regular Member.

Manage Space Page

All AI Hub users can access the Manage Space page, but the available tiles and permissions depend on your role.

Regular Members have access to the tiles for:

  • Creating a new space

  • Viewing member roles

Team General Managers have access to tiles for:

  • Creating a new space

  • Viewing members, editing member roles, and removing members

  • Setting up billing

  • Deleting the space

Team Billing Managers have access to the tiles for:

  • Creating a new space

  • Viewing member roles

  • Setting up billing
